Let’s get to know me.
Hi I’m Haley the owner of Naughty & Nice Nougat. I am a full time mum of two young children. I have physical and learning disabilities which make me who I am, some days are better than others which is why I created Naughty & Nice Nougat back in November 2024. My business was thought up one evening when the children were in bed and I was watching tv. Here at Naughty & Nice Nougat we make fresh soft and chewy homemade nougat of different flavours, fresh light/ fluffy marshmallows and sweet/ crunchy VEGAN honeycomb.
I’m a fully qualified chef/ baker and have a 5* food hygiene rating. At 16 I went to my local college and completed my level 2 professional chefs course and level 3 patisserie course. While I was at college I started working at a local bakery at 17 years old. I soon learnt more and became one of the day bakers. Before I knew it at the age of 19 they gave me a key to the shop and had me working out the front serving customers, opening and closing the shop, this gave me confidence that I didn’t have previously. Unfortunately at the age of 25 I had to leave as Covid hit and my income was reduced so I started working part time in retail until I had my two children. After having my second child I knew I wanted to start my own business and use my skills/ qualifications so I created Naughty & Nice Nougat.
